Serving Our Congregation

CHURCH GROUPS

Lutheran Men in Mission (LMM)
Men of the church and community engaging in fellowship and ministry. We support the mission of the South Carolina LMM – to strengthen the spiritual developments and witness of all men and provide financial along with other support to mission congregations in the SC Synod. Men of all ages are invited to participate. Meetings are held monthly.

VIP’S
Made up of those 50 and above who enjoy fellowship, food, and friends worshiping together. We have speakers to keep us up to date on the happenings around our community and state. We also like to venture out on a trip to visit areas of interest. Meetings and/or outings are held monthly.

Women of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America (WELCA)
Women of the church engaging in ministry and action in our church, community and world. All ages are welcome. We have 3 different groups/circles which meet monthly to do the work of the church as needed. We are also involved with providing a meal for families within our church who have lost a loved one and offer a wedding shower for those in our church.

COMFORT MINISTRIES

Prayer Shawl Ministry
This group is open to anyone who crochets/knits. The prayer shawls are given to individuals who need comfort because of illness, loss or other reasons. Celebration shawls are also given for weddings, baptisms, confirmations, and graduations.

Card Ministry
Throughout the year, church members and people in our community are remembered with cards (birthday, thinking of you, get well, sympathy, special occasion).
