Our Newsletter is a very good tool in letting our congregation be aware of all

Mount Calvary’s activities and anything you have to offer. Should you have

something you would like to share with all of the members, please contact the

church office by phone or email.

Annual Reports & Yearbook

November – Again this year, we will be helping the Fisher House at the

VA Hospital in Augusta with a meal and/or supplies. As you know, this is

where families of Veterans being treated at the VA Hospital can stay dur-

ing their time in Augusta.

The Shepherd’s Hand – We are still collecting used plastic grocery

bags for this ministry.

Next month the Parish Administrator will provide forms to assist the committee’s

in providing their 2026 Annual Report and 2027 Yearbook information. If there is

anything you would like to be on the worksheet, just let her know.

Veterans Recognition

We had a few shoe boxes left last year. If

you are interested in packing one or two, they are in the narthex. Information

along with the return date and the shipping label are in the box. Social Ministry

will pay the shipping fee for the boxes that are packed. If you have questions,

please check with Donna or Laura.

They will be due back to Donna Hatcher on November 15th.

Veterans Recognition

On Sunday, November 8, we will recognize our

church’s veterans (anyone who served in the Armed Forces including the National

Guard & Reserves).

We need your help. We have been working to gather names of veterans buried in

our cemetery so that we can place flags on the graves. We still do not have a com-

plete list. So that we can put out the flags in November please let us know if you

have a family member who served in any of the Armed Forces, including the Na-

tional Guard or Reserves. If you know of others not in your family, please share

those names with us also.

Please give names to Larry Hatcher, Wayne Asbill, or Clay Fulmer by October 18
